THE HARDWARE CONTEXT

Demonstrated on an RTX 5060 Laptop GPU with 8 GB VRAM and 32 GB system RAM. This is a reported test setup, not a minimum specification or a guarantee for every scene.

Before you start

  • The Krea 2 model stack, identity-edit LoRA, and edit-node pack identified in the source tutorial.
  • One source image, or two correctly ordered images for the dual-input editing path.
  • A compatible local ComfyUI installation and sufficient system RAM alongside GPU memory.

Inside the tutorial

  1. 01

    Compare restaging examples

The guide changes environments, lighting, clothing, and visual style around a generated portrait. Compare the intended edit with the details that actually remain or change.

  2. 02

    Look at the unsuccessful edits

Object removal sometimes introduces blur or alters unrelated parts of the image. The clothing examples include partial transfers, retained garments, and misplaced outfits.

  3. 03

    Order dual inputs correctly

The tutorial describes scene-first and person-second ordering for the dual-input path. Reference order is part of the conditioning, not an interchangeable file choice.

  4. 04

    Match the editing setup

Follow the edit-node installation and model-placement section, then choose the one-image or two-image mode deliberately. Use the demonstrated settings as a starting point for inspection, not a promise of preservation.

What to keep in mind

  • Clothing transfer is inconsistent: some edits retain parts of the original outfit or change anatomy.
  • Local object edits can affect other regions, and identity or facial geometry can drift. Inspect the entire output, not just the requested edit.
