The complete hardware picture

VRAM is only part of the budget.

The Director walkthrough uses an RTX 5060 Laptop GPU with 8 GB VRAM and 32 GB system RAM, with substantial offloading. Resolution, duration, and tiled decoding are part of the memory budget.
